Hot Fuzz-Film Review

Before I start can I just mention how much I adore watching films. I study it at college and have always had a passion for binge watching films. I've seen too many films that I've lost count.
But hot fuzz is a film that is proudly placed in my top ten of films.

Now here is some of that information that we all love.

Hot fuzz was released in 2007, staring the infamous duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost who are playing two police offers who are investigating a series of mysterious deaths in a small town. The film has a comedic twist to the cop drama which, is in true fashion off Simon and Nick. Stereotypically Simon plays Sgt Nicolas Angel a character who is obsessed with his work and is so obsessed his long term girlfriend leaves him. And Nick's character is Pc Danny Butterman a cop who is more bone idle in comparison to his partner.

Hot Fuzz is also a part of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy which is a series of British comedic genre films, All films star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

A reason this has to be in my top ten films is because it never gets old no matter how much you watch it. Never mind the comedy gold featured in this film, all the references to other films of this genre are just outstanding. How this film is not more popular shocks me. For numerous reasons such as the  action scenes which will make any action film junkies fangirl over the glorious action shots.
The plot of the film itself is that of a twist. Simon Pegg moves to an strange town that ironically has very little crime rates. He is given mundane tasks like catching the goose that is loose in the town, patrolling the streets daily. When he notices mysterious events happening the plot twists thickens. Without spoiling it the first time I watched this film I was surprised by the events to the last half of the film. Now I just laugh at how oblivious I was. But, that doesn't stop me enjoying it.

I can't stress how much you need to see the film if you haven't already then if you have re-watch. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE EDUCATED ON THE BEAUTY OFF THIS MASTERPIECE.

There's a never ending enjoyment of this film from the subtle jokes, to the horrific deaths, the classic action shots and references like you wouldn't believe. Also, Simon Pegg Kicking an old lady in the face is always something you can't miss.

And remember guys don't forget to turn your Japanese Peace Lilly!
